Researcher Earns Doctorate in Quran and Its Sciences

Researcher Ghada Mohammed Kafafi has obtained a doctorate degree in the Holy Quran and its sciences, after the public defense of her dissertation titled "Guidance of the Brothers: Explanation of the Guidance of the Young by Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Khalaf Al-Haddad - A Study and Verification" on Saturday, Dhul Hijjah 30, 1445 AH, corresponding to July 6, 2024 at 9:30 PM Makkah time.

The defense took place under the supervision of the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Main Center of the Islamic University of Minnesota, through a scientific committee composed of Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Qubisi, a faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota, as supervisor and rapporteur, Dr. Fatima Amin Al-Saghir, a faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota, as an internal examiner, and Dr. Ziyad Ahmed Al-Hajj, Head of the Qiraat (Quranic Recitations) Department at Al-Janan University in Lebanon, as an external examiner.
