Researcher Mahmoud Abu Al-Qasem Earns PhD in Jurisprudence

Researcher Mahmoud Rabi' Qurni Abu Al-Qasem has earned his PhD from the Department of Jurisprudence and Its Principles following the public defense of his thesis titled "The Shafi'ite Grants in the Vocabulary of Imam Ahmad’s Doctrine by Imam Mansour Al-Bahouti (1000 AH - 1051 AH): A Study and Verification from the Beginning of Hunting and Sacrifices to the End of the Book."

The defense took place under the supervision of the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the main campus of the Islamic University of Minnesota on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 5:00 PM Mecca time.

The discussion committee consisted of Dr. Salah Farraj, Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and Its Principles, as the chair, Dr. Imad Qudari Al-Ayadi, Head of the Manuscripts Department, as the supervisor and rapporteur, Dr. Hamad Al-Mazrouei, faculty member, as the internal examiner, and Dr. Ahmed Ma'bad Issa, faculty member, as the external examiner.
