Launch of New Academic System Portal at the Beginning of Next Year

Engineer Ali Mustafa, Deputy Director of the Information Technology Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota, announced that the launch date for the new academic system portal is set for the beginning of next year, specifically on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
Engineer Ali added that work is ongoing to complete the new portal, with the IT team focused on the finest details. He indicated that the development of the Control Affairs and Student Affairs units, the Virtual Rooms and Registrations unit, and the Faculty Affairs Deanship has been completed, while work is currently underway on the finance system.
Regarding the features that the new portal will provide, Engineer Ali confirmed that it will integrate all academic electronic services, including links to lectures, lecture schedules, and examination services. He also highlighted the automated grading feature for exams, whereby students' grades will be sent immediately after completing the test.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Omar Al-Maqrami, Vice President of the Islamic University of Minnesota and Head of the Main Center, had previously announced the IT Deanship's commencement of delivering some services in the new electronic portal to certain departments, in preparation for the launch of its trial version during the upcoming semester. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the technical team, extending special thanks to the Deanship Director, Ms. Marwa Abdulwasi, Deputy Dean Engineer Ali Mustafa, and Engineer Harith Noaman, calling on all stakeholders within the university to collaborate with the IT team to ensure that the academic system portal meets the requirements of the colleges, units, and various administrations.
