Researcher Rawan Al-Rifai Earns PhD in Quranic Studies
Researcher Rawan Rakan Al-Rifai has been awarded a PhD from the Department of Quranic Studies and Sciences, following a public defense session for her thesis titled "Farid Al-Ansari and His Approach to Reflecting on the Quran: A Descriptive Analytical Study," held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 8:30 PM Mecca time.
The session was conducted under the supervision of the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the main campus of the Islamic University of Minnesota. The discussion committee comprised: Professor Abdulrazeq Al-Bakri, Dean of the College of Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, as Chair; Dr. Khalid Al-Naan'ah, faculty member at the university, as Supervisor; Professor Yusuf Muhammad Hamid Ahmed, faculty member at the university, as Internal Discussant; and Professor Ayman Sobhi Sidiq, Professor of Quranic Interpretation and Sciences at Al-Azhar University, as External Discussant.
