Graduate Studies Releases Second Issue of Graduate Studies Journal

The Graduate Studies and Research Unit at the Islamic University of Minnesota, main center, has released the second issue of the Graduate Studies Journal for March 2025.

The issue features an editorial by the Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Yasmeen Abu Shabana, in both Arabic and English, where she emphasized that the university prioritizes students of knowledge, providing them with a flexible learning environment that fosters their passion for knowledge and learning.

The journal also includes a message from the Director of the Research Unit, Dr. Yusra Salama, who discussed the importance of scientific research as a divine trust that encourages researchers to explore the signs of God in both the universe and within themselves, citing the verse from Surah Adh-Dhariyat. She highlighted the role of Muslim scholars as pioneers in various fields, stressing the need to connect science with human values and ethics.

The issue contains a section focused on the essential information for scientific discussions regarding master's and doctoral theses, along with summaries for each thesis, as well as a separate section for seminar sessions.

Additionally, the issue features a collection of scholarly articles, including one titled "Scientific Research in the Islamic Perspective: Between Knowledge Pursuit and Piety," along with other articles addressing topics such as "The History of Prophetic Medicine," "Ramadan and Islamic Sciences: Integrating Spirituality and Reason," and "Aspects of Egyptian Social Life Through the Writings of Al-Jabarti."

Through this, the journal continues to provide academic insights that enhance the status of the Islamic University of Minnesota in the fields of graduate studies and scientific research.
