Researcher Ahmed Hersi Awarded Doctorate

Ahmed Muallim Hersi, a graduate student in the Department of Business Administration from Djibouti, has been awarded a doctorate after defending his thesis titled "The Impact of Learning Organization Characteristics on Achieving Institutional Excellence in Leadership - An Applied Study on the Peace Center for Training, Research, and Consulting in Djibouti."

The public defense session for the thesis took place on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 9:00 PM Mecca time, chaired by Dr. Mohammed Younis, Head of the Department of Business Administration, and supervised by the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the main center of the Islamic University of Minnesota, College of Economics and Business Administration.

In addition to the chair, the discussion committee included Dr. Mohammed Khalid Abu Al-Qasem, faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota "Supervisor," Dr. Marwan Al-Abbas, faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota "Internal Examiner," and Dr. Khalid Basarida, faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota "External Examiner."
