Creation of Legal Forum at College of Sharia and Law

The Law Department at the College of Sharia and Law at the Islamic University of Minnesota has announced the launch of the "Legal Forum" under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Shuaib Abdulmaqsood, Head of the Law Department.
In a statement, Dr. Mohammed Shuaib Abdulmaqsood explained that the forum aims to promote legal culture and train students in various legal activities, such as drafting contracts, documents, and legal and commercial papers. It also focuses on preparing legal consultations, writing petitions, briefs, and appeals, including types of appeals and cassation, as well as requests for reconsideration and litigation skills. The forum seeks to equip students for the job market by integrating academic knowledge with practical experience, fulfilling the university's mission to provide graduates with global expertise that qualifies them to work professionally.
It is noteworthy that the Legal Forum began its first activities with an interactive public lecture presented by Dr. Mohammed Shuaib Abdulmaqsood, where he addressed a range of topics related to the forum's objectives. The lecture received a significant response from students, and the video was shared in the WhatsApp groups associated with the Law Department and the College of Sharia.
