Saudi Researcher Awarded Doctorate in Islamic Educational Philosophy

MINNESOTA, USA - Saudi researcher Bashayer Mohammed Abdulquddus Qasem has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with distinction in Educational Administration from the Islamic University of Minnesota. The degree was conferred following the public defense of her dissertation, titled "A Proposed Theory for Building an Educational System in Light of Islamic Educational Philosophy - A Theoretical, Analytical, and Deductive Study."

The defense session was held on the evening of Thursday, September 11, 2025, under the direct supervision of the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the university's main center.

The examination committee comprised a distinguished panel of academic experts. It was chaired by Dr. Heba Tawfiq Abuayadah, Head of the Department of Educational Administration at the university, who also served as the supervisor and rapporteur. The committee also included Professor Abdullah Abdulnabi, Dean of the College of Educational Sciences at the university, as the internal examiner, and Professor Dr. Hassan Mohammed Ali Al-Zahrani, a professor of higher education at the Islamic University of Madinah, as the external examiner.
