Islamic University of Minnesota Appoints Mohamed Hamida as Director of the Curriculum and Academic Plans Unit
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of the educational process and develop the curriculum system, the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center announced the appointment of Dr. Mohammed Younis Hamida as Director of the Curriculum and Academic Plans Unit, under a decision issued by Dr. Omar Al-Maqrami, University Vice President and Head of the Main Center. Dr. Hamida previously served as Deputy Director of the unit, during which he made significant contributions to the development of academic content.
This appointment coincides with the launch of the university's University Textbook Project, representing a major step toward standardizing courses, improving their quality, and ensuring alignment with academic accreditation standards, thereby reinforcing the university’s mission to disseminate knowledge and learning locally and globally.
The university administration expressed its full confidence in Dr. Hamida’s leadership abilities and academic expertise, noting that his extensive experience will serve as a key pillar in supporting academic development plans and building a robust educational system that aligns with the university’s aspirations and ongoing excellence.
