Research Center Approves Series of Initiatives to Advance Scientific Research
MINNESOTA, USA - November 5, 2025 - The Research and Studies Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota (Main Center) has announced a package of significant decisions to enhance its scientific research system, following its fourth meeting held yesterday evening, Tuesday, chaired by Dr. Shaimaa Khattab, the Center's Director.
The meeting resulted in the launch of an intensive training program featuring weekly workshops, the approval for publishing two peer-reviewed scientific journals for the Colleges of Economics and Educational Sciences, and the completion of the evaluation of 95% of the past semester's research.
The Center also approved the final version of the brochure for the upcoming international scientific conference titled "Digital Tools and Their Role in Enriching Arabic Terminology in the Age of Artificial Intelligence," and discussed ways to activate academic cooperation with Moulay Ismail University in Morocco.
Dr. Shaimaa Khattab stated that these decisions are part of the university's efforts to solidify its position as a leading research hub, praising the members' efforts and the team spirit that drives the push toward a qualitative leap in the quality of scientific research and academic supervision.
