Dawah Center Concludes “What Every Muslim Should Know” Course
The Da’wah Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota – Main Center, concluded the “What Every Muslim Should Know” course on Thursday, November 23, 2025, with a graduation ceremony held at the Palestinian Community Network in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, amid an atmosphere of joy and celebration for the participants’ achievements.
The course ran for three months, from September 5 to November 23, 2025, and was led by Dr. Manal Mustafa, Director of the Da’wah Center. It offered intensive lessons in the jurisprudence of worship, targeting different age groups of Muslim girls, boys, and youth living abroad. Lectures were delivered in English, with eight one-hour sessions held weekly.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Dr. Manal Mustafa presented graduation certificates to the participants, issued by the Da’wah Center under the auspices of the Islamic University, praising their enthusiasm, engagement, and dedication to acquiring Islamic knowledge.
During the ceremony, Dr. Manal also highlighted the university’s academic programs across various Islamic and scientific disciplines, available to all age groups through its multiple colleges and departments, emphasizing the university’s commitment to expanding access to its educational and da’wah programs among Muslim communities abroad.
The event concluded with an agreement with the host organization to organize future courses after Ramadan, covering various topics in Islamic sciences, da’wah, the Prophetic biography, interpretation (tafsir), and jurisprudence (fiqh), specifically designed for women, further enhancing the center’s educational and da’wah role in the community.
