Deanship of Graduate Studies Conducts Scientific Defense for Master Thesis on "Divine Providence for Prophet Moses"
The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Main Center of the Islamic University of Minnesota held the public defense for the master's thesis of researcher Abdulaziz Gharamallah Hamdan Al-Zahrani, titled "Divine Providence for Prophet Moses (Peace Be Upon Him) in Light of the Holy Quran," via video conferencing on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
The thesis, prepared by the researcher from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, fulfills the requirements for obtaining a Master's degree from the Department of Quranic Studies and Sciences in the College of Islamic Studies. The study centered on analyzing the theme of the special divine providence that surrounded Prophet Moses (PBUH) as depicted in the Holy Quran. It further extracted the educational, doctrinal, and practical implications of this providence in building the Muslim character and strengthening faith.
The defense committee was composed of Dr. Khaled Al-Na'aneh (Supervisor and Committee Secretary), Dr. Youssef Mohammed Hameed (Internal Examiner) and Dr. Ahmed Ata Mohammed Omar (External Examiner)
Committee members presented a series of precise scientific observations and methodological recommendations aimed at deepening the analysis and solidifying the research foundations of the thesis.
