Al-Khaledi Receives Ph.D. in Holy Qur'an and Its Sciences

Ahmed Mohammed Al-Khaledi, a researcher from the Department of Islamic Studies in English at the College of Islamic Studies, has obtained a Ph.D. degree in the Holy Qur'an and its Sciences. This came after the public defense session of his dissertation titled "The Educational Significance of the Holy Qur'anic Dialogue Addressed to Young Muslims in the West." The defense session was held by the Graduate Studies Department on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
The defense committee consisted of Dr. Manal Mustafa Abdullah, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies in English at the Islamic University of Minnesota, as the supervisor; Dr. Aziz Marzouq Mohammed Zalegh, a faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota, as the internal examiner; and Professor Dr. Diyar Saeed, Associate Professor of Interpretation at the Islamic University of Minnesota, as the external examiner.
