Workshop Explores Artificial Intelligence Impact on Future of Media

The Islamic University in Minnesota, in collaboration with the Training and Development Center, the Community Programs, and the College of Media, organized a training workshop titled "Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Media: Global Experiences and Challenges." The workshop was presented by Dr. Saly Saad Jouda.

The workshop focused on the challenges of digital transformation facing the media industry in light of technological advancements and the widespread use of social media and the internet. The impact of these transformations on information dissemination and consumption was discussed, as well as the changes in media consumption habits and audience preferences towards digital content. It was emphasized that the use of digital technologies can contribute to improving the quality of media content and enhancing media engagement with the audience.

Approximately 300 participants, including students from within and outside the university, attended the workshop. It was broadcasted through the center's Facebook page and uploaded to the university's YouTube channel and the center's platform on the university's official website. The workshop was organized by Eng. Mu'tasem Faez, the Executive Director of the center. It is expected that digital transformation will continue to reshape the media industry and its future directions, necessitating media professionals to adapt to these changes and confront new challenges in the media market, including the emerging challenge of artificial intelligence.
