Islamic University Participates in International Conference "Role of Scientific Research in the Renaissance of the Nation"


 

The Islamic University of Minnesota participated in the international conference "The Role of Scientific Research in the Renaissance of the Nation," organized by the Minar al-Islam website in coordination and cooperation with six scientific and academic institutions.

The conference was held over two days, Thursday and Friday, 14/15 Dhu al-Qa'dah 1445 AH, corresponding to May 23/24, 2024, morning and evening, with the attendance of a group of doctors and researchers specializing in Islamic and cosmic sciences.

The conference sessions - except for the opening and closing sessions - amounted to nine sessions revolving around seven axes. The first session was dedicated to the axis of the rules and ethics of scientific research, the second session to the axis of the reality of scientific research in the Islamic nation, the third to the axis of scientific research in cosmic sciences, the fourth to the axis of scientific research in history, آثار and heritage, the fifth and sixth to the axis of scientific research in Islamic sciences, and the seventh to the axis of scientific research in the Arabic language, educational sciences, and geography. As for the eighth session, it was allocated to interventions in foreign languages, and the ninth was allocated to the axis of the future of scientific research.

Three researchers from the Islamic University of Minnesota, the main center, participated: Dr. Youssef Mohammed, who participated in the first scientific session with a research paper entitled (Principles, Rules, and Methodologies of Scientific Research - An Inductive Analytical Study), Dr. Naha Musa Al-Atoum, who participated in the second scientific session with a research paper entitled (Obstacles to Scientific Research in Jordanian Higher Education Institutions), and Dr. Samir Fridi, who participated in the seventh scientific session with a research paper entitled (Ethical Educational Thought in Islamic Heritage - Cognitive Discussions between the East and the West).

In addition to Dr. Hanan Mukhtar, who represented the university and delivered a speech on its behalf at the opening session, and Dr. Abdu Nasr, who was the rapporteur for this session, other doctors participated from the Islamic University of Minnesota, the main center, at the organizational level; They are Dr. Imad Ali Al-Khatib, who chaired the seventh session, and Dr. Juma al-Ashram, who was the rapporteur for the same session. In the membership of the scientific committee, we find Dr. Juma al-Ashram, Dr. Mohammed Al-Wardi, Dr. Alaa Husni Musa, Dr. Mohammed al-Shaqaldi, Dr. Imad Ali al-Khatib, and Dr. Majdi Hilal. In the membership of the media committee was Dr. Abdu Nasr al-Silani.
