Department of External Relations organizes Introductory Seminar on Diplomatic Qualification Course

The Department of External Relations and International Cooperation at the Islamic University of Minnesota, in cooperation with the Department of Political Science, organized an introductory seminar on the Diplomatic Qualification Course on Friday, June 28, 2024.

The seminar aimed to shed light on the importance of the course, its benefits, accreditation, and other details, in preparation for the start of the previously announced course.

During the seminar, Dr. Faiza Khattab, Head of the Department of Political Science, spoke about the importance of the training course and its numerous benefits, including obtaining internationally recognized certificates, the possibility of passing the exams of Ministries of Foreign Affairs in any country, the possibility of distinguished diplomatic representation, in addition to refining the skill of diplomatic negotiation among trainees.

Dr. Khattab stressed that the Diplomatic Qualification Course is open to everyone regardless of their specialization, noting that it represents a real academic start for a new specialization, and even the possibility of teaching in the field of this new specialization.

Dr. Hanan Mukhtar, Head of External Relations and International Cooperation at the university, announced that registration for the course is still open to those who wish to do so from academics inside and outside the university.

It is worth noting that the enjoyment of the privileges of the course will be after the completion of the required number for training.
