Islamic University of Minnesota Participates in International Conference
Dr. Hanan Mukhtar, Director of the Conferences and Scientific Seminars Department at the Islamic University of Minnesota, announced the university's participation in the international conference titled "Scientific Research and Serving Arab Political Issues – Contemporary Foresight Studies in Light of Growing Crises." This conference is organized by the Arab United Organization for Scientific Research (its first conference) and the London Research Center (its fourteenth conference), to be held on December 2-3, 2024, corresponding to the first and second of Jumada Al-Akhira 1446 AH, via the Google Meet platform.
The conference will gather several universities and international institutions, including the Islamic University of Minnesota, and will focus on four main themes: the relationship between scientific research and political decision-making, practical applications of the role of scientific research in resolving political crises, the role of technology and innovation in addressing political issues, and scientific research as a tool to enhance democracy.
Dr. Hanan Mukhtar also attached a file to the announcement containing all details related to the conference, indicating that the conference's issue revolves around how to enhance the role of scientific research in developing strategies to address political crises in the Arab region.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Eideer Ghniyat, Dean of the College of Development Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota and Head of the External Relations and International Cooperation Department, serves as the Secretary-General of the High Advisory Board for the conference, according to the file.
