University Honors Outstanding Students for Summer Semester

The Islamic University of Minnesota celebrated the recognition of outstanding students for the summer semester on Friday, May 27, 2025. The ceremony was held under the patronage of Dr. Zainab Basyouni, the Deputy University Provost and Dean of Student Affairs, and organized directly by the Student Affairs Units.

The event was filled with enthusiasm and interaction, attended by a large number of university members, including deans, department heads, administrative unit directors, and a significant number of students, organized through department groups on WhatsApp.

This recognition aims to honor students who excelled in combining academic achievement with good conduct, making them role models within and outside the university.

A highlight of the ceremony was Dr. Zainab Basyouni's speech, where she congratulated the outstanding students, noting their excellence in ethics, commitment, and positive engagement. She emphasized that this distinction is the result of continuous effort and boundless ambition, considering that honoring these students sends a message of hope and motivation to their peers to pursue success.

In the Student Affairs Office's address, the attendees were reminded of the honor given to the "noble members of the university," who embody the highest values and ideals, commending their hard work, discipline, and exemplary behavior.

Eighty students received the title of Outstanding Student in the undergraduate program, including 32 male and 46 female students. Additionally, 55 students were honored in the graduate program, comprising 38 at the master's level and 17 at the doctoral level
