Quranic Center Implements New Strategies

"Sada Al-Jami'a" has obtained a statement from Dr. Hadeel Mohammed Abdulazim Afifi, the director of the Quranic Center, stating that the administration has carried out a new restructuring of the center. She mentioned that they have recruited a number of new teachers to revitalize the center and organize continuous Quranic circles throughout the day.

Regarding future plans, Afifi confirmed the preparation of some important training courses, aiming to serve the students of knowledge, especially those studying at the College of Islamic Studies. The goal of these courses is to enhance their connection with the subjects they are studying and provide them with a rich background and information.

The management of the Islamic University's Quranic Center in Minnesota - the main campus - has started implementing a training course in Tajweed titled "Guidance for Reciters in Mastering Proper Pause and Starting Points in the Noble Quran." The course is presented by Dr. Hamed Salah El-Din Tantawi, a reciter at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Awqaf. The course is held every Sunday and Tuesday of each week at 9:00 AM Mecca time. The course had 240 participants registered at its opening.

The administration of the Quranic Center stated in the course announcement that it is free for males and females from within and outside the university. Attendees will also be granted an accredited certificate of attendance. The course is scheduled to continue for a full month.
