Researcher Al-Nahhas Earns Ph.D. in Qur'an and Its Sciences

In a significant and remarkable achievement, researcher Hazem El-Sayed Abdullah Mohammed Al-Nahhas has obtained a Ph.D. in the Holy Qur'an and its Sciences. His impressive thesis titled "The Interpretation of Surah Al-Mulk by San'allah Afandi, Mustafa bin Ja'far Al-Imadi Al-Roumi, who passed away in the year 1022 AH" was publicly defended in a special session held at the Islamic University of Minnesota.

The Graduate Studies Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota formed a distinguished scientific committee to conduct the defense. The committee included Professor Ayman Sobhi Seddiq, Professor of Tafsir (Quranic exegesis) and Quranic Sciences at Al-Azhar University and the Islamic University of Minnesota, who served as the supervisor of the thesis. Dr. Abdulrazeq Al-Bakri, the Dean of the College of Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, presided over the committee. Dr. Emad Qadri Al-Ayadhi, the Head of Manuscripts Department at the Islamic University of Minnesota, participated as an internal examiner. Professor Abdulfattah Mohammed Khader, the Dean of the College of Quranic Recitations and Sciences at Al-Azhar University, was appointed as an external examiner.

Al-Nahhas received congratulations and felicitations from several professors who expressed their appreciation for his efforts in pursuing this prestigious academic degree.
