Research Plan to Study Prophet's Methods in Conflict Management

Minnesota, August 12, 2024  - A scientific committee from the Department of Prophetic Sunnah and its Sciences at the Islamic University of Minnesota has approved a research plan prepared by doctoral student Salem Ahmed Al-Shahri to study the methods of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) in managing conflicts and social disputes.

This decision came after the committee held a seminar session to discuss the plan, under the supervision of the Graduate Studies Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota, at the main campus of the College of Islamic Studies.

The committee was chaired by Dr. Musab Nabil, the head of the Department of Prophetic Sunnah and its Sciences, and included Dr. Asem Thabet as a member.

The research plan aims to analyze the methods of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) in managing conflicts and social disputes, through the examination of religious texts and the noble biography of the Prophet.

The scientific committee praised the importance of this research plan and considered it a valuable addition to the Islamic library in the field of studies on the prophetic biography.
