Academic Committee Approves Research Plan to Study Justice in Mu'tazilite Thought
Islamic University, August 22, 2024 - An academic committee from the Department of Creed and Contemporary Doctrines, chaired by Professor Dr. Imad Abdu Al-Ajeeli, has approved the research plan submitted by the researcher Hussain Hassan Souki to study the concept of justice in Mu'tazilite thought and the position of Islamic sects towards it. This is part of Souki's requirements for obtaining a doctorate degree from the aforementioned department, which is affiliated with the College of Islamic Studies.
The committee's decision was made after discussing the aforementioned research plan under the supervision of the Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota's main campus, on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 10:00 PM Mecca time.
The discussion committee consisted of Professor Dr. Imad al-Din Abdu Al-Ajeeli, Head of the Department of Creed and Contemporary Doctrines, and the participation of Dr. Khalaf Al-Mutawalli and Dr. Mohammed Al-Bahr.
The Head of the Department of Creed and Contemporary Doctrines, Professor Dr. Imad al-Din Abdu Al-Ajeeli, emphasized that this research plan comes within the framework of fulfilling the requirements for obtaining a doctorate degree from the aforementioned department affiliated with the College of Islamic Studies.
The committee chair praised the quality of the research plan submitted by the researcher Hussain Hassan Souki, stressing that the topic of the study enjoys great importance in the specialized academic and research field.
