Meeting of Department of Da'wah and Islamic Culture

Doctor Taha Al-Jawhari, Head of the Department of Islamic Culture and Da'wah at the College of Islamic Studies, held a meeting for the faculty members of the department on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 9:00 PM Mecca time.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Jawhari welcomed all attendees and started discussing the agenda items, beginning with listening to members' inquiries and discussing their content. He also addressed the topic of authoring books related to the department's subjects, noting the existing difficulties in the current curricula, which necessitate a thorough discussion.

Dr. Al-Jawhari expressed his satisfaction with how the lectures have been conducted "smoothly and very well," praising the cooperation among department members and expressing confidence in the readiness of the faculty for the upcoming semester.

He emphasized the importance of addressing any student inquiries and responding to them, highlighting the need for follow-up when necessary. He encouraged faculty members to participate in the seminars and public activities organized by the university, coordinating in advance with the relevant departments.

Regarding the final exams for the second semester, Dr. Al-Jawhari stressed the necessity for the exams to be easy and accessible for students, urging that the last lecture be dedicated to review and encouraging gentle treatment of students.

Attending the meeting alongside Dr. Taha Al-Jawhari were Dr. Abdulbadeea Mohammed Abdullah, Dr. Al-Sayed Bayoumi, Dr. A'id Al-Jbour, and Ms. Anisa Ahmed Othman Al-Zikri, the Administrative Affairs Officer for the College of Islamic Studies.
