Al-Humaikani, Al-Bashair Al-Huwaisak, and Al-Makki Win the "University Narrator" Competition

The College of Islamic Studies organized the major competition for the Prophetic Sunnah, titled "University Narrator," from August 11 to October 4, 2024. Contestant Yasmin Abdul Hafiz Saleh Al-Humaikani from Yemen secured first place, while contestant Al-Bashair bint Abdul Moneim Al-Huwaisak from Yemen took second place, and contestant Sarah Mohammed Mohammed Al-Makki from Egypt came in third.

The prizes included a full scholarship for the first place winner, along with a university trophy and an accredited certificate. The second place winner received a half scholarship, a university trophy, and an accredited certificate, while the third place winner was awarded a university trophy and an accredited certificate.

The final round featured 22 competitors who advanced after three stages of the competition. In the first stage, 35 out of nearly 100 contestants were accepted, and 30 competitors progressed to the third stage, culminating in the qualification of 22 contestants for the final round.

The competition began on August 11, 2024, under the auspices of the College of Islamic Studies, with the Dean of the college presiding over the high committee. Dr. Fatima Jumaa Al-Wahsh, head of the Arabic Islamic Studies Department, served as the general coordinator of the competition. The winners were honored at a special ceremony held by the college on Thursday, October 10, 2024, attended by distinguished guests from Egypt and Jordan.
