Approval of Research Plan for PhD Student in Quranic Studies

Saudi PhD student Saad Majed Baaj Al-Otaibi, in the Department of Quranic Studies, has received official approval for his research plan titled "Pages from the Sciences of the Quran According to the Scholar Muhammad Al-Amin Al-Harari through His Interpretation 'Gardens of the Soul and the Fragrance'." The approval was granted on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10:00 PM Mecca time.

This came after a seminar session held by a scientific committee chaired by Prof. Abdulrazeq Al-Bakri, Dean of the College of Islamic Studies, under the supervision of the Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota. The committee included, in addition to its chair, Dr. Imad Qadri Al-Aiyadi, Associate Professor Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Yusuf, Dr. Abdulrahman Hayjan, Dr. Hazem Al-Nahhas, and Dr. Babakr Mahmoud.

This approval marks an important step in the student’s academic journey and reflects the university's support for research in the field of Islamic sciences.
