Researcher Said Omarani Awarded Doctorate in Quranic Studies

Following the public defense session of the doctoral thesis titled "Quranic Guidance in Surah Az-Zumar: An Applied Study," which took place on Saturday, 10 Muharram 1447 AH (July 5, 2025), at 8:30 PM Mecca time, the committee has decided to award researcher Said Omarani a doctorate from the Department of Quranic Studies and Sciences.
The session was held under the direct supervision of the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the main campus of the Islamic University of Minnesota, College of Islamic Studies. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Fakhruddin Al-Zubair Al-Muhassi, Chair of Quranic Guidance "Supervisor and Rapporteur," Prof. Dr. Abdulfattah Mohammed Khidr, Dean of the College of Quranic Sciences at Al-Azhar University "External Examiner," and Prof. Dr. Ziad Ahmed Al-Hajj, Head of the Department of Readings at Al-Jinan University in Lebanon and faculty member at the Islamic University of Minnesota "Internal Examiner."
