Scientific Lecture on “Managing Islamic Institutions in the Digital Era”
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote Islamic awareness and strengthen contemporary religious discourse, the Da’wah Center, in collaboration with the College of Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota – Main Center, organized a scientific lecture on Thursday, November 6, 2025, within the framework of the program “The Minbar of the Da’wah Center and the College of Islamic Studies for Knowledge and Guidance,” which aims to develop modern da’wah discourse and connect it to contemporary issues, under the slogan: "Knowledge that guides hearts… and guidance that enlightens minds.”
The lecture, titled “Managing Islamic Institutions in the Digital Era: Challenges and Aspirations,” was presented by Dr. Zakaria Ibrahim via the Zoom platform. In his presentation, Dr. Ibrahim discussed the major digital transformations taking place in modern institutions, emphasizing the role of technology in enhancing administrative and da’wah efficiency and improving the quality of services provided to society.
He highlighted the importance of integrating Sharia-based vision with technological advancement to ensure effective administrative performance that fulfills the mission of Islamic institutions while keeping pace with the demands of the modern era, stressing that digital transformation has become essential for institutional development and societal impact.
The lecture witnessed active participation from university students and da’wah enthusiasts, in an atmosphere characterized by constructive dialogue, intellectual exchange, and valuable contributions that enriched the discussion.
This lecture is part of a series of academic and da’wah events organized under the “Minbar of the Da’wah Center and the College of Islamic Studies” program, which aims to strengthen the university’s role in promoting balanced Islamic knowledge and fostering responsible awareness in religious and intellectual fields.
