Da‘wah Center Organizes Educational Lecture on "Educational Lessons Derived from Surah Yusuf"
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance religious and educational awareness among students and the academic community, the Da‘wah Center, in cooperation with the College of Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota – Main Center, organized an interactive religious lecture titled “Educational Lessons Derived from Surah Yusuf.”
The lecture was held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. Makkah time via Zoom, and witnessed a broad and distinguished attendance from university students and individuals interested in Islamic and intellectual studies.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Hind Al-Ashmawi, who highlighted a set of profound educational concepts and lessons drawn from the story of Prophet Yusuf (peace be upon him), emphasizing the importance of utilizing Qur’anic narratives in shaping a balanced and mindful Muslim personality.
This event comes within the integrated program “The Pulpit of the Da‘wah Center and the College of Islamic Studies for Knowledge and Guidance,” launched under the inspiring slogan: “Knowledge that guides hearts… Guidance that enlightens minds.”
The administration of the Da‘wah Center stated that the program aims to present a platform that unites insightful discourse and sound scholarly foundations, delivered by distinguished professors who carry the mission of faith and scholarship seeking to enlighten minds and nurture souls.
The center also highlighted the special features offered during the event, including the interactive nature of the lecture and the provision of free educational materials to participants, contributing to comprehensive intellectual and spiritual development, particularly for the university’s students.
At the conclusion of the event, the Center affirmed the university’s commitment to continuing such enriching academic and religious activities that elevate awareness and enhance learning, inviting all to follow the upcoming sessions in the journey of “Knowledge and Guidance.”
