IUMN Hosts Spiritual Lecture on "Blessings in Life"
MINNESOTA, USA - November 10, 2025 - The "Minbar of the Dawah Center and College of Islamic Studies for Knowledge and Guidance" hosted a scholarly and spiritual lecture last Sunday evening titled "A Contemplation on Allah's Name 'Al-Latif' and How to Lengthen Your Life," presented by Dr. Abeer Issa Saleh. This lecture is part of the ongoing program organized by the Dawah Center in collaboration with the College of Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota (Main Center).
During the lecture, which was held via Zoom and drew a notable audience, Dr. Abeer discussed the profound meanings of Allah's name "Al-Latif" (The Subtle, The Gentle) and how to perceive its effects in a Muslim's life. She explained that understanding this name brings tranquility and strengthens reliance on God. She also explored the concept of prolonging one's life from an Islamic perspective, clarifying that righteous deeds and a positive impact on society are among the means of attaining blessings in one's lifespan.
The event saw significant interaction from attendees, who enriched the discussion with their questions and inquiries, reflecting the program's success in creating a purposeful dialogue environment.
