Dr. Mohammed Abdulmaqsoud Chairs Extended Meeting
On Thursday, February 29, 2024, Dr. Mohammed Shoaib Abdulmaqsoud, the head of the Law Department, chaired an extended meeting of the department's council at the College of Sharia at the Islamic University of Minnesota, the main center.
The meeting, attended by faculty members of the department, discussed several issues on its agenda, with a focus on monitoring the progress of final exams in the department and recording exam grades upon completion. Additionally, the meeting addressed mechanisms for ensuring the quality of the educational process in the Law Department. The participants put forward suggestions in this regard, including the establishment of a virtual court within the Law Department, offering a legal qualification course during the summer semester for law students, finalizing course descriptions, and taking into consideration the diverse needs of students by the faculty members.
In addition to the department head, Dr. Mohammed Shoaib Abdulmaqsoud, the meeting was attended by Dr. Muez Osman Ali, Dr. Ihab Talaat Abdulkhaleq, Dr. Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Nabihi, Dr. Hussein Al-Hamouri, Dr. Amir Khalifa, Dr. Mohammed Gholam Ahmed, Dr. Osama Mohammed Abuelfotouh, Ms. Basant Shoaib Abdulmaqsoud, and Ms. Mariam Mohammed Al-Maqrami, the administrative affairs officer at the College of Sharia.
