Reappointment of Dr. Mohammed Shuaib as Head of Law Department

The administration of the Islamic University of Minnesota, Main Center, has decided to reappoint Dr. Mohammed Shuaib Abdulmaqsoud as the head of the Law Department at the College of Sharia and Law. Dr. Abdulmaqsoud had previously held this position for an extended period, which was briefly interrupted when Dr. Muaid Zidan assumed the role.
Dr. Norhan Salama, Dean of Faculty Affairs at the university, welcomed the return of Dr. Mohammed Shuaib Abdulmaqsoud, expressing the university’s confidence in his leadership and academic capabilities. She also extended her gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Muaid Zidan for his outstanding efforts during his tenure as head of the department, which contributed to enhancing the academic and administrative progress of the department.
For his part, Dr. Mohammed Abdulmaqsoud expressed his gratitude to the university administration, particularly to Dr. Omar Al-Maqrami, the university’s Vice President and Head of the Main Center, for their support and trust. In a post, he stated, "I am very happy to return to the family of the Islamic University of Minnesota, and we ask Allah for success and guidance."
In recognition of Dr. Muaid Zidan’s contributions, the College of Sharia and Law awarded him a certificate of appreciation, acknowledging his remarkable efforts in establishing the department’s foundations and enhancing the educational process during his leadership. The certificate read: "The college extends its sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Muaid Zidan for his distinguished contributions and great efforts, which significantly contributed to the success of the department."
This decision reflects the university administration’s commitment to strengthening the efficiency of academic departments and supporting excellence in the educational process, expressing its aspirations for continued development and success under the leadership of Dr. Mohammed Shuaib Abdulmaqsoud.
