Center for Manuscripts and Heritage Studies Organizes Inaugural Training Course

Shortly after the inauguration of the Center for Manuscripts and Heritage Studies, the center successfully completed its first activity at the university by organizing a training course from December 26th to 28th, 2023.

The course consisted of three lectures distributed over the three days of the course. On the first day, December 26th, the training course featured a lecture titled "Tools of the Editor and Ethics" presented by Dr. Abu Bakr El-Sayed, the director of the Center for Manuscripts. On the second day, December 27th, the lecture titled "Textual Editing" was delivered by Dr. Hind Ashmawi, Assistant Professor at the College of Islamic Studies. The course concluded with the third lecture held on Thursday, December 28th, 2023, entitled "Textual Relationships" presented by Dr. Emad Qadri Al-Ayadi, the head of the Center for Manuscripts.
