Doctor Zainab Ali Basyouni, Deputy Dean of the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center, expressed her overall satisfaction with the university's performance, highlighting the noticeable progress the university has made in various areas, including academic programs, teaching quality, and creating a stimulating educational environment for students.
In an interview published by the "Sada Al-Jamiah" newspaper, the deputy emphasized that among the key achievements contributing to her satisfaction are improvements in educational quality, academic and psychological support for students, digital and technological transformation, enhancing international partnerships, and administrative development. She noted that the university administration continuously evaluates performance and identifies challenges to improve the educational and administrative experience, aiming to keep the university a distinguished scientific beacon that keeps pace with global developments while preserving its identity and noble mission.
Dr. Basyouni also highlighted the importance of adopting the latest educational technologies to ensure the provision of integrated and professional educational services, which enhances the learning environment and makes it more interactive and efficient. She mentioned the development of a successful technical model based on innovation and sustainability to improve the experiences of students and faculty members through e-learning platforms and digital libraries.
Regarding development plans, the deputy stated that the university aims to achieve academic excellence through comprehensive development strategies that enhance the quality of educational services and improve the student experience. She identified the fields of this strategy as continuously developing and updating academic curricula, incorporating critical thinking and innovation skills into academic programs.
