Quality and Development Unit Organizes Training Course to Enhance Staff Skills
The Quality and Development Unit, in coordination with the Educational Affairs Unit at the Islamic University of Minnesota (Main Center), organized an online training course via Zoom on Thursday evening, December 4, 2025, entitled “Developing Staff Skills and Their Impact on Advancing University Efficiency.” This initiative comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance institutional performance and develop human capital.
The course targeted secretaries and administrative staff across various units, focusing on the importance of continuous professional development and its role in improving institutional work quality and fostering a more professional and efficient work environment. The course was delivered by Dr. Latifat Abdulatif Ahmed Al-Sawi, a faculty member and certified trainer, who presented the key aspects of functional skill development using a scientific and practical approach, highlighting its direct impact on improving staff efficiency and achieving institutional excellence.
The session was moderated by Dr. Fatima Jumaa Al-Wahsh, Director of the Quality and Development Unit, who emphasized in her remarks the university’s commitment to investing in human resources as the cornerstone of institutional development and the achievement of strategic goals.
The course witnessed notable interaction from participants, accompanied by constructive discussions that enriched the training content. It concluded with the awarding of university-accredited certificates to attendees.
