Conference Titled "Gaza in Eyes"

The College of Sharia and Law organized an important conference titled "Gaza in the Eyes of Jurisprudence and Law" under the patronage of the Vice Rector of University and the Head of the Main Center, Dr. Omar Ahmed Al-Maqrami. It was held on Thursday, April 4, 2024. The conference lasted for two hours and addressed four main themes.

The first theme, titled "Gaza in Eyes of the World," examined the current situation in the Gaza Strip and its impact on the population and local community through study and analysis.

The second theme, titled "Jurisprudence of Tofan Al-Aqsa" explored the jurisprudential dimensions of the ongoing conflict in Al-Aqsa Mosque and its effect on the lives of Muslims.

The third theme, titled "The Responsibility of the Ummah towards Palestine," discussed the role of the Islamic Ummah and its responsibility towards the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.

The fourth and final theme, titled "Tofan Al-Aqsa in the Eyes of International Law," focused on the legal aspects of the conflict and the challenges facing the international community in dealing with the events in the region.

A group of professors from the College of Sharia presented the main themes of the conference. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Naffar presented the first theme, while Dr. Salah Faraj addressed the second theme. Dr. Muzahem Tareq Al-Mustafa, the Dean of the College of Sharia and Law, had the honor of presenting the third theme. Dr. Mohammed Shuaib Abdulmaqsoud presented the fourth and final theme.

It is worth mentioning that the Gaza Strip continues to witness one of the most atrocious aggressions in contemporary history, due to the failure of international political and legal institutions to resolve the conflict and find equitable solutions to the crisis.
