Scientific Committee in Law Department Approves Research Plan

A scientific committee from the Law Department, chaired by Assistant Prof. Dr. Mohammed Shuaib Abdul-Maqsood, has approved the research plan prepared by researcher Salah Musfar Hamid Al-Hudhali to study the use of generative artificial intelligence as a means of evidence in legal disputes. This approval is part of fulfilling the requirements for his doctoral degree from the College of Sharia and Law.

The plan was approved following a seminar session held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 9:00 PM Mecca time, under the supervision of the Graduate Studies Deanship at the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center. The committee included the chair and members Dr. Mu'ayad Zidan and Dr. Walid Al-Touni.
