Scientific Committee in Department of Jurisprudence Approves Research Plan

Following a seminar session held by a scientific committee from the Department of Jurisprudence and Its Foundations at 10:00 PM Mecca time on Monday, May 5, 2025, the research plan prepared by student Hawzen Ali Farhan was approved. Her study focuses on the jurisprudential principles of Imam Al-Nawawi in his book "Al-Majmu' on Foods."

The seminar session was conducted under the supervision of the Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, main campus - College of Sharia and Law. The committee was chaired by Dr. Salah Farraj, Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and Its Foundations, and included Dr. Mohammed Al-Wardi, Dr. Jihan Al-Taher Mohammed, Dr. Murad Ouda, and Dr. Mohammed Sameer Abdulrahman as members.
