Academic Seminar Session to Discuss Impact of Digital Transformation on Litigation
The Deanship of Graduate Studies at the Islamic University of Minnesota, in collaboration with the Faculty of Sharia and Law and the Department of Law, held an academic seminar session on Wednesday evening via video conferencing to discuss a research proposal examining the impact of digital transformation on litigation procedures in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Doctoral researcher Ali Musa Al-Assiri presented his proposal titled "The Impact of Digital Transformation on Litigation: An Applied Analytical Study in Light of Regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," addressing how digitization affects case resolution speed and the achievement of efficient justice, with an applied analysis of Saudi regulations and legislation.
The discussion panel was chaired by Dr. Mohammed Shoaib Abdulmaksoud, Head of the Department of Law, and included Dr. Ahmed Al-Barrak and Dr. Eyad Talaat Abdulkhaleq, who provided scholarly observations and methodological recommendations that supported the research direction and objectives.
