Islamic University of Minnesota Successfully Concludes "Python Programming Fundamentals" Course

MINNESOTA, USA - November 25, 2025 - The Training, Development, and Community Programs Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota (Main Center) has announced the conclusion of the specialized training course, "Fundamentals of Python Programming for Beginners," organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Computers and Information

Technology.

This course is part of the university's leading academic initiative, "Digital Skills and Artificial Intelligence for Non-Specialists,"which aims to empower students and community members with modern technological tools. The course was delivered by Dr. Hossam Fathi Suleiman Wahba, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Networks and Cybersecurity and an expert holding a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation.

Over four interactive lectures held from November 2nd to 9th, 2025, participants gained a deep understanding of fundamental programming concepts, developed logical thinking, and applied their knowledge through practical projects, including building a "Hello World" program and a simple calculator. This provided them with a solid foundation in writing code.

Affirming its commitment to knowledge dissemination, the university has taken the exceptional step of making the complete course content available to the public for free, including lecture recordings, training materials, and scientific references. The Center clarified that this initiative aims to support self-directed learning and facilitate access to knowledge for everyone, both within and outside the university.
