Training Center Concludes Specialized Training Course on "Excellence in Academic Quality"

The Training, Development, and Community Programs Center at the Main Center of the Islamic University of Minnesota has successfully concluded the activities of the "Excellence in Academic Quality: From Standards to Innovation and Continuous Improvement" course. The intensive training spanned four days from December 23 to 30, 2025, with broad participation from faculty members, administrative staff, and individuals interested in educational performance development.

The course was delivered by Professor Hana Bani Ata, an expert and consultant in the field of academic quality within the University's History and Antiquities Department. The training comprehensively covered the theoretical and practical foundations of quality across five key modules, starting from core concepts and dimensions, progressing through local and international standards, and culminating in measurement tools, continuous improvement strategies, and methods for integrating innovation to strengthen and sustain a culture of quality within educational institutions.

The program was organized and managed under the supervision of Engineer Al-Mutasem Faiz, Director of the Training and Development Center. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in building the capacities of university personnel and quality units, empowering them to design and implement comprehensive improvement plans that enhance the entire educational process and contribute to meeting academic accreditation requirements at the highest standards.

The course received significant engagement and successfully achieved its goals of equipping participants with the necessary skills to apply evaluation and improvement methodologies, enabling them to contribute effectively to elevating academic performance. This aligns with the University's vision of adopting the latest global systems in quality and innovation.

At the conclusion of the program, certified certificates were distributed to the successful participants who met the course requirements, including those from within the University and other educational institutions. This step aims to recognize their efforts, document their acquisition of the presented knowledge and skills, and support continuous professional development while promoting a culture of academic excellence.
