Student Affairs Unit Welcomes 280 New Students

The Student Affairs Unit at the Islamic University of Minnesota has welcomed 280 new students so far. Mr. Sulaiman Maqbool, Director of Undergraduate Student Affairs, confirmed that the registration process is still ongoing, which is expected to increase this number.

Mr. Maqbool noted that the number of students who have commenced their studies in the second semester reached 1,560, distributed across 22 departments. He also mentioned that 178 students have graduated after the first semester, with 200 students in the final stages of graduation, and it is expected that around 250 students will graduate in the upcoming second-semester cohort.

The Cybersecurity and Networking Department has distinguished itself by leading in the number of new students, followed by the Business Administration Department and then the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Department. The director expressed confidence that the number of new registrants could reach approximately 320 students, marking a new record for the university.
