Graduate Student Arafat Ba'issa Expresses Happiness

Graduate student Arafat Abdulrahman Ba'issa from the College of Islamic Studies at Minnesota Islamic University expressed his great happiness at being accepted to pursue a PhD in the Department of Quran and Its Sciences, thanking the university for providing him with this opportunity starting from this academic year.

Ba'issa, who holds several licenses in Quranic readings, confirmed that he had wished to enroll at the university for some time, specifically after hearing about it through social media. However, he noted that "God's decree and what He wills happened," which prevented him from doing so. He explained that when he studied and received his license from his teacher, Dr. Mohammed bin Futini Al-Zabidi, he intended to register at the university, but circumstances hindered his continued pursuit of knowledge. After stabilizing his situation, he decided to apply for admission to the university and found a wonderful response from the administration.

Ba'issa also called for Minnesota Islamic University to be a model for other Islamic universities around the world.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Mohammed bin Futini Al-Zabidi is a graduate of this university, having earned his PhD with honors from the Department of Quran and Its Sciences in the College of Islamic Studies.
