Official Statistics: Virtual Activities Witness Significant Growth

  

An official statistical report has been presented by the Statistics and Data Unit, affiliated with the Media Center at the Islamic University of Minnesota, highlighting the activities of the virtual educational and audiovisual rooms during the second semester. The statistics reveal a range of figures that reflect the nature and scale of the educational process at the university.

According to the report, the number of primary rooms where the educational process was conducted during the semester reached 325 rooms. Additionally, there were 3,200 recorded video lectures, 3,200 audio lectures, and 3,100 attendance sheets.

Furthermore, 35 links were created for meetings organized by departments, colleges, and some units during the semester. There were 28 public sessions held to discuss doctoral and master's theses, as well as research plan seminars, with a similar number of recorded discussions and seminar sessions. The Language and Translation Center had 25 links.

Regarding training, development, and community programs, 45 links were organized for training courses, with 28 video courses recorded, in addition to 25 links for the Language and Translation Center.

Finally, the report indicates that the Room Unit uploaded 9,600 files during the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024, and 1,025 links were created during the same semester.
