Virtual Rooms and Recordings Unit Adopts New Approach to Document Daily Activities

The Virtual Rooms and Recordings Unit at the university is implementing a new method that highlights all academic and non-academic activities taking place daily within virtual rooms. This is done through the publication of a daily schedule that includes important data related to those activities and their execution times.

The schedule is meticulously and artistically arranged, starting with the week number, day name, Hijri and Gregorian dates, and the semester name. The schedule also includes a vertical column with headings such as the sequential activity number, the department or center where the activity takes place, the required code to access the virtual room, and the activity title, such as the lecture name or academic subject. Additional information such as the lecturer's name, if applicable, the activity start time, the name of the hosting room, and a column for notes are also included in the schedule.

During the inauguration of this new approach, Mohammed Abduljawad, the Virtual Rooms engineer, expressed his satisfaction and emphasized that the Virtual Rooms and Recordings Unit will begin publishing the daily schedule for all its activities at the university. He confirmed that this schedule will include lectures, meetings, training courses, seminars, and conferences, with the aim of highlighting the activities that take place daily within the virtual rooms at the university.

Most activities at the university are conducted in virtual rooms affiliated with the global platform ZOOM, within a comprehensive system aimed at providing alternatives and necessary measures to ensure the students' rights are fully met.
