University Administrative Units Preparations for Summer Semester
University Administrative Units have successfully completed their preparations for the launch of the summer semester under the supervision of Dr. Nourhan Salama, the Director of the Administrative Affairs Unit for Colleges and Deputy Dean for Administrative Affairs of Faculty Members. Among the efforts made by Dr. Nourhan Salama was the follow-up on the Room and Registration Unit regarding department schedules. She ensured that the schedule forms were filled out by department heads and made necessary adjustments. She also coordinated with the Room Unit to ensure the safety and coherence of the department schedules.
In addition, Dr. Nourhan Salama followed up on the Curriculum and Study Plans Unit. She ensured the delivery of approved curricula from the unit to department heads, ensuring the availability of necessary curricula for students.

At this time, the doctoral stage was undergoing a change in the plan by the curriculum unit. The new plan was received, and schedules were completed for some departments that include courses in the summer semester. They were sent to the colleges for lecturer nominations. The nominations were successful, and the academic schedules were prepared and adjusted on Zoom rooms, and lecture links were prepared. A total of 125 Zoom application links were created for this semester. The schedules were sent to the colleges for review, feedback, and necessary revisions.
Operating links were prepared on YouTube and Hearthis.at platforms, and 45 playlists were set up for recordings during the study. A group was created on the Telegram application to upload attendance files for courses. Coordination was made with secretaries and educational affairs to arrange the working method in the semester. Arrangements were also made with the Language Center to set up links for starting Spanish and French language courses. New faculty members were received, and the database was updated, and introductory files were distributed to them.
A meeting was held between Dr. Jumanah Al-Khrashi, the director of the educational affairs unit and Eng. Mohammed Abduljawad, the director of the virtual rooms unit to discuss schedules and arrangements for shared courses. Coordination was made with student affairs regarding the mechanism of adding and receiving courses. Technical support was provided to monitor the addition of lectures, materials, students, and professors on the electronic portal.
On the same note, Sulaiman Maqboul, the director of the undergraduate student affairs unit, Amima Adel, the director of the graduate student affairs unit, Ruqayah Abdulhafiz, the former director of the technical support unit, and Hareth Al-Maqrami, the new director of the unit, and Abdulrahman Hamoud, the director of the technical support unit for postgraduate studies, confirmed that they have completed all the necessary preparations for the start of the summer semester, including preparing student schedules, preparing student lists, facilitating transfer and deferral processes, receiving new students, and providing them with the necessary support.
