Educational Affairs Unit Honors Ideal Secretaries in Joyful Ceremony
The Educational Affairs Unit under the Deanship of Academic Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota celebrated the honoring of ideal secretaries in the university on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 9:00 PM Makkah time.
The ceremony, presented by Ms. Eman Abdulaziz, Secretary of the College of Media, was attended by the University Vice President Dr. Omar Al-Maqrami and his deputy Dr. Zainab Basiouni, Dean of Academic and Educational Affairs Dr. Osama Abdulrahman, the Student Affairs team, the Virtual Classrooms team, the Control team, and the Media Center team at the university, in addition to a large presence of secretaries of departments and colleges in the general group of secretaries.
The ceremony opened with a welcoming speech delivered by Ms. Dohaa Al-Malki, Secretary of the College of Economics and Administrative Sciences, followed by a recorded speech by the University Vice President, Dr. Omar Al-Maqrami, in which he thanked the secretaries for their efforts and dedication to completing their tasks, congratulating them on the occasion of the end of the summer semester and the approach of Eid Al-Adha.
The ceremony also included a speech by the Vice President's Deputy Dr. Zainab Basiouni and a speech by the Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. Osama Abdulrahman Awf, where both thanked the secretaries and assistants for their great role in facilitating the educational process.
The highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the ideal secretaries, where a certificate of appreciation was published for each ideal secretary for each of the seven colleges, accompanied by a preface of praise and commendation written by the college secretary, followed by words of thanks, gratitude, and praise from the Director of Educational Affairs Dr. Jumana Al-Kharashi.
The following secretaries won the title of ideal secretary in the summer semester, preceded by the names of departments, colleges, and stages:
- From the College of Arts and Humanities: Ms. Samira Al-Saghir, Secretary of the Department of Arabic Language at the Master's level.
- From the College of Media: Ms. Eman Sabri, Secretary of the Department of Media and Public Relations at the Master's level.From the College of Computer and Information Technology: Ms. Noha Saleh Qutran, Secretary of the Department of Administrative Information Systems at the Bachelor's level.
- From the College of Educational Sciences: Ms. Khadija Mukhtar, Secretary of the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods at the Master's and PhD levels.
- From the College of Economics and Administrative Sciences: Ms. Aya Saeed Al-Sharqawi, Secretary of the Department of Business Administration at the PhD level.
- From the College of Sharia and Law: Ms. Walaa Wael, Secretary of the Department of Law at the Master's level.
- From the College of Islamic Studies: Ms. Amina Ali Saleh, Secretary of the Department of Islamic Studies in English at the Bachelor's level.
The ceremony was supervised by the Director of the Educational Affairs Unit, Dr. Jumana Al-Kharashi, and Ms. Dohaa Al-Malki was in charge of the technical supervision, while Ms. Eman Abdulaziz was in charge of the design and editing. The secretaries of the colleges covered the ceremony in the media groups of the departments and colleges, and Ms. Mariam Mohammed Amr was the only one who wrote the media report.
The ideal secretaries expressed their joy at this appreciation and honor in their posts commenting on the ceremony and thanked the university for the opportunity it gave them to engage in this unique and wonderful experience.
At the end of the ceremony, the Educational Affairs Unit honored the administrative units that cooperated with it to complete the work, namely the Virtual Classrooms Unit, the Undergraduate Student Affairs Unit, the Graduate Student Affairs Unit, and the Control Affairs Unit, where the directors of these units expressed their happiness at this honor, with kind words included in their posts that they wrote after the ceremony.
Dr. Jumana Al-Kharashi concluded the ceremony by thanking her cooperative team and mentioned by name Dohaa Al-Malki, Eman Abdulaziz, Nada Al-Najjar, Amina Ali, and Khadija Radman.
