Conclusion of Midterm Exams for the First Semester
On Thursday, August 29, 2024, the midterm exams for the first semester concluded at the Islamic University of Minnesota, following a week of testing that began on Saturday, August 24.
The university’s Control Affairs Unit issued a memo to faculty members 20 days prior to the exams, on August 4, 2024. The memo, signed by the unit's director, Ms. Amat Al-Rahman Mohammed Al-Maqrami, requested faculty to prepare two versions of the exam along with a model answer. It also outlined the conditions and specifications for the exam regarding both format and content, starting with the necessary data, through the types and number of questions, to the timing and grading distribution.
After the exam schedules were published on August 18, various academic departments and administrative units collaborated to ensure the exams were conducted efficiently. A disciplined technical and academic environment was provided, contributing to the smooth conduct of the exams. Faculty members graded the answers and recorded the scores directly on the academic system portal and the university’s mobile application.
