Resumption of Studies After Midterm Examinations
 
                        
                        The Islamic University of Minnesota resumed its academic programs on Saturday, August 16, 2025, after a full week of pause from August 9 to 14, for midterm examinations that include all colleges, departments, and levels.
Midterm examinations are official and managed by the university administration, with the Control Affairs Unit, led by Ms. Ummah Al-Rahman Al-Maqrami, overseeing their organization, supported by several academic and administrative entities, including:
- Academic Departments: Their administrations and academic staff.
- Educational Affairs Unit: Led by Dr. Jumana Al-Kharashi, with a team of 8 members from the college secretaries.
- Student Affairs Deanship: Headed by Dr. Zainab Basyouni, along with the three units of the deanship.
- Information Technology Deanship: Led by Ms. Marwa Abdul-Wasi and her deputy, Mr. Ali Mustafa.
- Classrooms and Registration Unit: Managed by Mr. Mohammed Abdel-Jawad.
- Faculty Affairs Deanship: Headed by Dr. Nourhan Salama, with a team of 8 college directors.
- Media Center.
In a statement to the news administration, Ms. Amat Al-Rahman Al-Maqrami confirmed that the examinations are conducted using technologies that ensure the academic rights of the students. She pointed out that the Control Unit collaborates with relevant parties to assess and develop current testing technologies, aiming to achieve neutral ideal standards and ensure the highest levels of quality, transparency, and flexibility in the examinations.
