Graduates Affairs Unit: Issuing Graduation Documents for 38 Graduates in the Second Semester

Engineer Mohamed Sultan Abid, the director of the Graduates Affairs Unit at the Islamic University in Minnesota - Main Campus, announced that his unit completed the issuance of graduation documents for thirty-eight graduates during the second semester. This includes four bachelor's degree graduates, twenty-nine master's degree graduates, and five doctoral degree graduates.

Engineer Mohamed Sultan added, "During this semester, the Graduates Affairs Unit sent graduation documents by mail for eighteen other graduates who had previously completed their studies. These documents were authenticated by the relevant authorities in the United States, specifically the notary public of Minnesota, the state secretary, and the U.S. Department of State."

Responding to a question about the process of issuing documents, Engineer Mohamed Sultan explained, "The process involves several steps. First, graduates who have fulfilled all graduation requirements from all levels are referred to us. Second, we guide the graduate to submit a graduation application through the university's website, with easy steps taking no more than 60 seconds."

Engineer Mohamed Sultan continued to outline the remaining steps in the issuance of graduation documents, stating, "The third step involves collecting and processing the data, reviewing it, and exporting it to the graduates' database. We then begin issuing both the academic record and the official yellow certificate, attested in both Arabic and English. An electronic copy of each document is sent to the student via email to the Graduates Affairs Management at the university. Meanwhile, the originals are submitted to the Authentication Unit, which oversees the authentication process by the notary public of Minnesota, the state secretary, and the U.S. Department of State."

Engineer Mohamed Sultan concluded by mentioning the fourth step, saying, "We work on archiving students' data and documents according to stages, colleges, and departments in an organized archive specific to the Graduates Affairs Unit, similar to the practices in all universities."

It's important to note that the administrative structure of the Graduates Affairs Unit, under the Admission and Registration Deanship, consists of Engineer Mohamed Sultan as the unit director, Engineer Abdullah Al-Mansoub as the document issuance officer, Engineer Hamoud Sultan as the academic records issuance officer, and Ms. Banan Saif as the review and auditing officer.
