Fayza Khattab Appointed as Department Head

Dr. Omar Al-Maqrami, Deputy of the Islamic University of Minnesota, has issued a decision appointing Dr. Fayza Khattab as the head of the Department of Political Science at the College of Arts and Humanities.

Khattab holds a Ph.D. in Arts from Ain Shams University and has experience in teaching and research in the field of modern and contemporary history. She has also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of History and Islamic Civilization at the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center. She has made contributions to several academic journals and conferences.

Dr. Fayza's appointment was welcomed, and she received congratulations from many prominent figures at the university. She expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Omar Al-Maqrami and other faculty members.

Dr. Wafa Al-Damardash, the Director of the Faculty Affairs Deanship, expressed her thanks and appreciation to Dr. Duaa Mahmoud Awaida, the former department chair, and praised her leadership and administrative abilities.
